The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, May 14 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will offer to deliver Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on a silver platter.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have another emotional outburst. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ask Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) for her help. And Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will have a nightmare.
Y&R spoilers tease Diane will dream she’s at the Abbott estate. She’ll tell Jack she still loves him but he’ll say he’s moved on. “Nikki?” she’ll ask. But Patty will walk into the living room and kiss him. Patty will tell Diane Jack has moved on with her.
“I tried to fight it,” Jack will add. “But Patty’s right, our love is once in a lifetime and deserves a second chance.” Then Patty will say the child she thought she miscarried is very much alive. “We found our long lost daughter.” And Diane will wake up screaming Jack’s name.

Meanwhile, Jack will sidle up to Society’s bar, where Patty is sitting. “Is this seat taken?” he’ll ask. However, Patty will be wary. “Everywhere I turn, someone’s in my face about the horrible things I’ve done,” she’ll say. Jack will quip nobody said it would be easy. Patty will say she’s confused why he’s decided to be civil.
Jack will tell her maybe it’s time for him to accept she’s trying to be a better person. He’ll order a drink and Patty will offer to pay for it. But he’ll remind her of the last time she got him a drink. Patty will be adamant she didn’t drug him on the yacht.
Jack will say it was Victor. “You can say it, now that we both know it’s true.” Patty will say he’s right and Jack will tell her he wants to move forward, but needs her help. He’ll admit Diane won’t even talk to him. But it isn’t about Diane, it’s about Victor.
“If Victor’s actions have caused me to lose the woman I loved, I’m going to make damn sure he loses the love of his life,” Jack will add. “If it’s the last thing I do.” Patty will smile and Jack will say if she helps him, it would go a long way to changing how he feels about her.
At the GCAC, Phyllis will set up Matt with his own hotel room. He’ll say it’s very generous of her. “I’m happy to help you,” she’ll reply. Phyllis will tell him she has things to do and Matt will say maybe he’ll wander around. “No, no, no!” she’ll exclaim. “Just enjoy this great room.”
Matt will talk about what Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) said to him. “Am I an awful person?” Phyllis will say Noah and his dad and grandfather are Newmans. “They’re a powerful family, I know them.” Matt will say he can make amends.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Tells Victor He Can’t Help Anyone
But Phyllis will tell him they’re not good people. She’ll leave him her phone and room numbers. “I’ve been feeling really lost and it’s nice to have you by my side,” Matt will say and she’ll head out. After she leaves, he’ll flash back to fighting with Nick at the lookout.
As for Phyllis, she’ll meet Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) in the lobby and tell him she’s going to make a deal. “You see, I have access to the one thing Victor Newman wants more than anything else in the world, all he has to do is drop the charges to get it.” Michael will ask what she has. “Matt Clark,” she’ll reply. And Michael will tell her it might actually work.
At the ranch, Nick will ask Victor what’s up. “I talked to your brother earlier, he told me you intend to dispose of Matt Clark,” he’ll reply. “I forbid it.” But Nick will start flipping out saying Noah and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) could have died on his watch.
“I can’t help anyone, I can’t even help myself!” he’ll exclaim. “It’s gotta stop – I can’t do it dad!” Victor will say there are other factors, the drugs. “I have it under control,” Nick will reply. But Victor will tell him if he murders Matt he’ll spend the rest of his life behind bars. “All this will go to you,” Victor will add. “How can you look after your family if you go to prison?”
Finally, Phyllis and Michael will show up at the ranch. She’ll tell Victor what she has to offer will blow his mind. “What would it be worth to you, if we handed over Matt Clark?” Michael will ask. Nick will tell Phyllis it wreaks of desperation. “Not only do I know where Matt Clark is, I have him on ice,” she’ll reply.
Phyllis will say all he has to do is drop the charges and she’ll deliver Matt Clark. “Do we have a deal?” But of course Victor also wants Phyllis his company back. “You return Matt Clark and Newman Enterprises, take it or leave it,” he’ll say. “Now it’s your move.”
